Spencer Springer

Vice President

Spencer Springer joined Empowered Ventures shortly after its inception and serves as Vice President. He is responsible for leading the origination and completion of new acquisition opportunities as well as general firm activities. Spencer has a diverse work background in management, mergers and acquisitions, operations, accounting and finance, strategic planning, human capital management, and marketing.

Spencer is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a degree in Finance and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with a master’s degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Empowered Ventures, Spencer prepared and led the sale of a family-owned business to a public company. He has also worked as the Chief Financial Officer of two private equity-owned companies as well as a private equity investor and an investment banker focused on companies with $1-$5M of annual owner earnings.

Throughout his career, Spencer has completed dozens of M&A transactions and loves talking with business owners and their advisors about the benefits of selling to an employee-owned acquisition holding company.
