Emily Bopp

Chief of Staff

Emily Bopp joined Empowered Ventures in July of 2022 and serves as Chief of Staff. She is responsible for supporting the CEO in the day-to-day guidance and management of the holding company team toward accomplishing annual objectives and making sure the holding company operations are effective and efficient. Emily brings unique insight to Empowered Ventures, drawing on over twenty years of small business management, leadership and development work, strategy and execution consulting, and business ownership.

Emily is a graduate of Purdue University, where she majored in Audiology and Speech Pathology, minored in History, and studied abroad at the University of Western Australia. Her business career began after a season of full-time motherhood, working as the right-hand to the owner of a manufacturer’s representative company. It was in this context that Emily discovered her natural abilities for facilitative leadership and operational excellence. She went on to hone those abilities both as a leader and as a consultant in many environments.

With a bias for action and an eye for excellence, Emily is passionate about helping teams maintain clarity and focus in order to achieve targeted outcomes. She counts it a privilege to apply her expertise at Empowered Ventures for the benefit of the team and the Employee Owners they serve.
