Our favorite days of the year are April 1 and October 1, when we get to welcome the newest entrants to the EV employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)!
Employee ownership is about more than a number—it’s the shared experience of working together towards a common goal. It’s knowing your individual work matters in the workplace. It’s the inherent dignity of workers participating in the ownership of the company they work for.
There are many stories of unique personal successes empowered by employee ownership, and we all live our own ESOP story. But for all of us, the first step is joining the plan.
So today, we celebrate our new employee owners. We are grateful to be alongside them and excited about this significant step that has the potential to be life-changing over time.
